DAY 01: Proceed to Tokyo From Goa/Pune/Mumbai/Hyderabad/Bangalore airport
Day 02: ARRIVAL AT NARITA (TOKYO)
Welcome to Japan—a land where ancient culture blends beautifully with modern innovation. Upon landing at Narita International Airport and completing customs and immigration, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in (Standard Check-In Time: 1500 hrs). Use the remainder of the day to relax and prepare for the memorable journey ahead. If your flight arrives late, a packed dinner will be arranged.
DAY 03: TOKYO
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: TOKYO SKY TREE | ASAKUSA SENSOJI TEMPLE & NAKAMISE STREET | TEAMLAB PLANETS | AKIHABARA
After a refreshing night, begin your exploration of Tokyo. Start with the Tokyo Sky Tree, Japan’s tallest structure, offering sweeping views of the entire city. Continue to Asakusa’s Sensoji Temple—Tokyo’s oldest—and walk along Nakamise Street, lined with traditional treats and souvenirs. Later, immerse yourself in the digital world of TeamLab Planets before ending the day in buzzing Akihabara, famous for anime, manga, and gaming culture.
DAY 04: TOKYO – HAKONE – TOKYO
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: MT. FUJI 5TH STATION (SUBJECT TO OPERATION) | LAKE ASHI CRUISE | HAKONE ROPEWAY | OWAKUDANI BOILING VALLEY
Today’s journey takes you toward the scenic Hakone region. If weather permits, ascend to Mt. Fuji’s 5th Station for magnificent views of Japan’s most iconic peak. Then relax on a peaceful Lake Ashi cruise, followed by a ride on the Hakone Ropeway offering stunning panoramic vistas. Continue to Owakudani—known for its strong volcanic activity—where you’ll see steaming vents and bubbling springs.
DAY 05: TOKYO – MATSUMOTO
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: SCENIC DRIVE TO MATSUMOTO | MATSUMOTO CASTLE (PHOTO STOP)
Leave behind Tokyo’s lively pace and travel to the charming city of Matsumoto. Take in picturesque rural landscapes en route. Upon arrival, stop for photos at the striking Matsumoto Castle—nicknamed the “Crow Castle” for its black exterior—set against the backdrop of the Japanese Alps.
DAY 06: MATSUMOTO – TOYAMA
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: TATEYAMA KUROBE ALPINE ROUTE
Experience the spectacular Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route—a thrilling journey involving cable cars, buses, ropeways, and mountain trolleys. The star attraction is the Snow Corridor, where massive walls of snow rise dramatically on both sides. This surreal passage offers breathtaking views, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
DAY 07: TOYAMA – KYOTO
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: VISIT SHIRAKAWA-GO VILLAGE
This morning, visit Shirakawa-go—a beautifully preserved UNESCO World Heritage village known for its unique gassho-zukuri thatched-roof farmhouses. Surrounded by mountain scenery, it feels like stepping into a postcard of rural Japan. Later, continue to Kyoto, Japan’s cultural capital.
DAY 08: KYOTO
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: ARASHIYAMA BAMBOO GROVES | SAKE BREWERY | KIMONO WEARING | FUSHIMI INARI TAISHA SHRINE
Begin your day at the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Groves, where towering stalks create a magical natural walkway. Later, visit a traditional Sake Brewery to learn about the craft of rice-wine making and enjoy tasting authentic sake. Embrace Japanese tradition with a Kimono Wearing Experience before heading to Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its countless vermillion torii gates.
DAY 9: KYOTO – NARA – OSAKA

Today explore Nara, Japan’s first capital. Meet the friendly deer at Nara Deer Park and visit Todai-ji Temple, home to the Great Buddha—one of the world’s largest bronze statues. Later travel to Osaka and enjoy free time at Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, the city’s lively shopping and entertainment areas filled with boutiques, street food, and neon-lit streets.
DAY 10: OSAKA – HIROSHIMA KANSAI
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: RETURN SHINKANSEN RIDE TO HIROSHIMA | HIROSHIMA PEACE MEMORIAL PARK
Board Japan’s high-speed Shinkansen for a journey to Hiroshima. Visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park—including the Cenotaph, Children’s Peace Monument, and Flame of Peace. Spend time at the A-Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that stands as a symbol of resilience and a powerful reminder of history. Return by bullet train to Osaka/Kansai.
